It has been announced by CEVA, that Nordic Semiconductor has licensed and deployed CEVA DSP technology in its nRF91 System-on-Chip (SoC) for low power cellular IoT connectivity. Finnish VC company, Inventure leads $5m (€4,5m) funding round to Haltian by investing €3m, followed by a group of existing and new investors. Haltian expects rapid growth and the investment is meant to multiple the company revenues within next years. The company aims at becoming the leading solution provider in selected enterprise IoT markets.

Sulzer’s BLUE BOX IoT Advanced Analytics has won the Gold Certificate Industry 4.0 at the Swiss Digital Economy Awards in the category Highest Digital Quality. BLUE BOX uses existing pump data to cut costs in pump operation and maintenance considerably. The Swiss Digital Economy Awards are presented by the industry association SwissICT, the Association of Swiss Internet Companies Simsa and the specialist publisher Netzmedien.
