5G OTA test services for mobile devices delivered
Anritsu Corporation has announced a collaboration between Anritsu and Verkotan to produce new test services for manufacturers of 5G mobile devices. With the rapid roll out of 5G networks, there is a growing need for performance tests for 5G devices. Verkotan is meeting this need using Anritsu`s MT8000A 5G communication tester, offering Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) tests, post modification tests for mobile phones and over the air (OTA) testing.
Solution for 5G VoNR voice quality evaluation
Anritsu has announced a new efficient solution integrated with a hardware platform from HEAD acoustics for evaluating the voice and audio quality of 5G VoNR devices. 5G RF regulatory test system ME7803NR solution launched
Anritsu has announced the availability of its RF Regulatory Test System ME7803NR solution for regulatory compliance testing of 5G communications systems. The newly developed RF Regulatory Test System ME7803NR uses the Radio Communication Test Station MT8000A as a simulated 5G NR base station in combination with a spectrum analyser and signal generator to implement ARIB/ETSI/FCC-compliant FR1 RF tests.

Anritsu has introduced expanded Forward Error Correction (FEC) analysis capability in its 116 Gbit/s PAM4 Error Detector (ED) MU196040B module for the Signal Quality Analyser-R MP1900A series bit error rate testers (BERTs).

Anritsu in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, have announced that the 5G RF Conformance Test System ME7873NR has achieved approval from GCF for the mmWave (FR2) 3GPP TS38.521-4 Demodulation/CSI Conformance Testing (Performance test hereafter), required for 5G NR RF Conformance tests.
Anritsu receives GCF approval for VoNR test cases
Anritsu has announced that the GCF (Global Certification Forum) CAG (Certification Agreement Group) has approved the VoNR (Voice over New Radio) Protocol Conformance tests on the 5G NR Mobile Device Test Platform ME7834NR at their CAG#65 meeting held in January 2021.
