In-cabin monitoring to improve vehicle safety

Analog Devices (ADI) has announced a collaboration with Jungo to develop a Time-of-Flight (ToF) and 2D infrared- (IR) based camera solution to enable driver- and in-cabin monitoring in vehicles. The combination of ADI’s ToF technology with Jungo’s Co-driver software is expected to enable the monitoring of vehicle occupants for levels of drowsiness and distraction by observing head and body position as well as eye gaze.

ADI collaborates with Hyundai Motor Company to launch noise cancellation system

Analog Devices (ADI) has announced a strategic collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) where Hyundai plans to launch the automotive industry’s first all-digital road noise cancellation system leveraging ADI’s Automotive Audio Bus (A2B) technology. Hyundai also intends to more broadly adopt ADI’s A2B technology for its fundamental audio connectivity and infotainment applications across its automotive fleet.

Enabling platform input modules for multiple product iterations

Analog Devices has introduced the AD4110-1 Analog Front End with integrated 24-bit ADC for industrial process control systems. AD4110-1 is a universal input AFE with an integrated ADC that allows customers to design a ‘platform’ input module that they can configure for multiple functions. This saves significant R&D cost, reduces time to market and requires less design resources.

Precision battery management in high performance EVs
