RF Solutions has completed its range of low-noise amplifier modules for general-purpose LNA, wideband, linear-driver and gain-block functions, with a total of 38 modules now available to accelerate product time to market by pre-solving specialist RF design challenges.

The modules share the same dimensions of 49 x 22.5 x 10 mm, with SMA connectors fitted, and mounting holes pre-drilled in the heatsink/baseplate. The on-board regulator allows use with any unregulated DC supply from 6V to 12V, and a power-status LED is provided. A “phantom” DC power feed via the RF Out connector is also permitted.

This broad selection of high-performance amplifiers targets applications such as broadcast equipment, laboratory instruments, PA drivers, masthead amplifiers, and front-end amplifiers in numerous OEM products.

The LNA1 family of low-noise amplifiers are available as single-stage amplifiers covering the frequency range 820MHz to 3.6GHz, with bandwidth as narrow as 70MHz and noise figures ranging from 0.5 to 1.0. The range also includes wideband LNAs covering the 525MHz and 1125MHz frequency bands, with bandwidth of 950MHz or 2150MHz.

LDA1 low-noise linear-driver amplifiers span the frequency range from 50MHz to 2.7GHz, with noise factor from 2.1 to 5.0 and bandwidths of 150MHz, 200MHz, 300MHz or 700MHz.

RF Solutions is also offering the GBA1 family of gain-block low-noise amplifiers, with gain ranging from 14.5dB to 20.0dB, nominal frequency of 230MHz, 600MHz, 1810MHz, or 2045MHz, and narrow bandwidths from 120MHz to 400MHz.
