Laird Technologies has introduced its UltraSphere CAF 94895 micro-miniature, low profile, in-building wireless antenna that provides as high as 3.6 dBi gain and operates over the wideband frequency range of 800 MHz to 2.4 GHz enabling six different technologies (AMPS, GSM, PCS, DCS, UMTS and Wi-Fi) to radiate through a single antenna device. This combination of features delivers to the end user a technology-rich, physically attractive and cost-effective solitary solution.
The multi-band, omni-directional wireless antenna is targeted at cellular voice and data service providers, system integrators, VARs and OEMS. Due to its extensive wideband coverage, the UltraSphere CAF 94895 is service provider and region independent which further enhances its flexibility. The Ultrasphere CAF 94895 measures 1.7 mm maximum thickness. The product also is ideally suited for ceilingapplications and is extremely unobtrusive which allows it to be concealed almost anywhere.

Depending on the frequency range, the antenna has a peak gain range up to 3.6 dBi, and its full dimensions are 179 mm x 80 mm x 1.7 mm with a SMA female connector.
