u-blox has announced that the MAX-7 GPS/GNSS module has been integrated into the SporTrek 1305, a next-gen bike computer from Holux. Supporting GPS, GLONASS, QZSS and all SBAS, the compact module targets applications requiring small size, low power, fast acquisition and reliable operation in GPS hostile environments.

Delivering state-of-the-art global positioning and wireless health-monitoring features on a compact, 3" colour touch screen display, the SporTrek 1305 provides useful information such as speed, heart rate, distance, altitude, map, route, calendar and stop-watch.

The device is shock and water resistant to operate in all weather conditions and is equipped with Bluetooth Smart. This enables it to connect with accessories (such as heart-rate straps) and smartphones, providing navigation and performance training data.
