Megaman launches new Ingenium ZB app

The launch of a new Ingenium ZB App for use with the Ingenium ZB smart home system has been announced by Megaman. The new app has been developed to replace the previous version and existing users will need to upgrade as soon as possible. The upgraded app will allow for greater functionality with Google and Google enabled devices and feature new bi-directional communication between the app and connected products.

As of December 31st, the pre-existing Ingenium ZB App will no longer be supported, so users will need to upgrade to the new Ingenium ZB App by Most Target Limited, currently available on the App Store and Google Play, by that date.

Ingenium ZB is a smart system which allows for the simple, streamlined control of lighting and electrical appliances throughout a residential or commercial space. Utilising ZigBee mesh work technology, the system allows the user to wirelessly monitor and schedule 50 connected devices from their phone or tablet, even when they are away from home. The system is also compatible with a range of other popular smart products on the market, including voice control systems such as Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

“The new Ingenium ZB App has been developed to make intelligent improvements to the functionality and efficiency of the system,” explained Glen Krise, Managing Director of Megaman. “The new bi-directional communication between the app and connected products means that the status of the product, whether off or on, is now indicated by the app, providing further user peace of mind.”

The new, free app is available now for all new and existing users of the Ingenium ZB smart home system.
