HUBER+SUHNER offers high performance RF connectivity solutions for airborne, shipborne and ground-based applications. These include cables, cable assemblies, connectors and EMP and lightning protectors for fixed and rotary aircraft, UAVs and airships as well as gimbal and radar systems. Shipborne applications include surface vessels and submarines while ground-based applications include communications and fighting vehicles.

As part of its programme of continuous product development, HUBER+SUHNER has just announced two significant additions to its cables portfolio.

HUBER+SUHNER’s Spuma product family is specified wherever an application requires a cable with extremely low loss characteristics. New to the Spuma family is the Spuma HT RF cable range which has been designed for applications up to 6GHz.

In addition to low losses, Spuma HT cables feature high temperature endurance which makes them suitable for high power applications. The three cable variants in the Spuma HT family (Spuma 240-HT, 400-HT and 600-HT) feature attenuation figures as low as 0.25dB/m (0.08dBft) at maximum operating frequency, power capability up to 1900W at 1GHz and an operating temperature range of -55⁰C to +150⁰C.

Cables in the SUCOFLEX® 126 family of high performance microwave cables are capable of extremely precise measurements thanks to their very high phase stability combined with low loss and excellent return loss figures at frequencies up to 26.5GHz.

Available in three versions, SUCOFLEX® 126 cables are produced around an optimised inner core construction and, for maximum reliability, HUBER+SUHNER has designed the cable to withstand both flexing and crushing.

HUBER+SUHNER offers a number of standard cable assemblies from stock in lengths up to 1500mm and, for non-standard assemblies, HUBER+SUHNER allows users to select from a wide variety of connector types.
