Suited for applications including mobile infrastructure and distributed antenna systems (DAS), Pasternack Enterprises has introduced 3-port RF circulators and 2-port RF isolators. The devices cover many common communications bands including UHF, AMS, Tetra, Cellular, PCS, UMTS and LTE frequencies.

Also referred to as RF duplexers, the 3-port RF circulators are unidirectional devices which control the signal direction and flow inside of an RF circuit. Circulating the flow of energy from each port to its clockwise adjacent port, the circulators are made of ferrite materials which determine the direction that the entering signal will flow. Operating from 380MHz-2.2GHz, they feature maximum power ratings to 1,000W, isolation of up to 20dB and either SMA or Type-N connectors.

Pasternack’s 2-port RF isolators help protect RF components from excessive power reflection. The passive components are made of ferrite materials and function as a unidirectional trap: they isolate the signal to trap or dissipate any reflected energy at the load. As with the circulators, the RF isolators operate from 380MHz-2.2GHz and feature maximum power ratings to 1,000W, isolation of up to 20dB and either SMA or Type-N connectors.

Gerry Camacho, Vice President, Technical Marketing, Pasternack Enterprises, comments: “The new lines of ferrite circulators and isolators is an expansion of our existing product lines as we continue to add products that focus on market specific applications. Customers now have a choice between many different high performance band specific and broadband devices to address their needs.“

These RF isolators and circulators from Pasternack are in-stock and available now.
