Portable bench top RF amplifiers that cover multi-octave bandwidths between 1GHz and 40GHz have been introduced by Pasternack. Designed to meet MIL-STD-202F environmental test conditions for humidity, shock, vibration, altitude and temperature cycle, the amplifiers are suitable for use inside high traffic test labs in industries such as aerospace, defence, optical, industrial, telecomms and R&D.

The RF amplifiers offer up to 60dB small signal gain with high dynamic range, a low noise figure of 5dB and an output P1dB compression power range of 10-22dBm. In addition, the devices feature an internal AC voltage power supply of 115-120VAC at 60Hz and operate across a temperature range of -40 to +85°C. The 20GHz versions use SMA female connectors, while the 40GHz versions utilise 2.92mm connectors.

The fuse protected amplifiers use a single AC voltage supply with internal voltage regulation and are designed with convenient front panel access with an on/off switch and RF input/output connectors. Each unit is offered with a 6 foot power cord.
