1990-2030MHz synthesiser features a 1MHz step size

Designed for satellite communications, Z-Communications has released the PCA2010A-LF phase lock loop synthesiser. The synthesiser, which is RoHS compliant, operates from 1990-2030MHz with a 1MHz step size. Available in a 0.50x0.50x0.13" package, the synthesiser provides a phase noise of -100dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset and can be programmed using a 3-wire serial interface.

Operating from a single supply voltage of 5VDC and consuming 40mA of current, the PCA2010A-LF provides an output power of 3dBm into a 50Ω load. The synthesiser operates over a temperature range of -40 to 70ºC and features a -70 and -15dBc phase lock loop spurious and 2nd harmonic suppression. Available in tape and reel packaging, the synthesiser is suitable for automated surface mount assembly and reflow as well as microwave radio applications.
