The ME910G1 enriches the Telit xE910 product family with a high-performance LTE-M and NB-IoT combo module. With optimised power consumption and enhanced quality of coverage it is specifically tailored for low-data throughput IoT applications and enables new low-cost IoT device deployments

It is now available at Rutronik UK.

The ME910G1 LTE UE Cat M1/NB2 module offers a Power Saving Mode (PSM) and extended Discontinuous Reception (eDRX) for energy-saving operation.

This feature allows the device to wake up periodically, delivering only the smallest amounts of data necessary before returning to sleep mode.

Enhanced coverage, enabled by maximum coupling loss (MCL) of up to +15dB/+20dB, provides superior in-building penetration compared to earlier cellular LTE standards.

Compliant with 3GPP Release 14, the ME910G1 has an increased date rate for LTE-M and NB-IoT and thus further optimises efficiency. The module is also available with an embedded GNSS-receiver.

The module is offered with global frequency bands configuration for global deployment and supports 2G fallback.

With a common form factor of 28.2 x 28.2 x 2.2mm as well as common electrical and programming interfaces the Telit xE910 product family allows developers to implement a “design once, use anywhere” strategy.

These features enable quick implementation of LTE technology where low cost and low power are more relevant than high speed.

Therefore, the module is particularly suitable for global IoT applications such as smart metering, security & surveillance, point of sales, health monitoring, fleet management, asset tracking and wearable devices.
