WIN Enterprises announces the PL-81840, a desktop platform designed primarily for industrial IoT applications. The desktop platform is built using Intel Embedded IA components to provide product longevity for electronic OEMs. The unit supports Intel Celeron N3350/ Pentium N4200 (formerly code named Apollo Lake)/Atom E39xx (formerly called Apollo Lake-I) low-voltage processors.

The platform supports up to 8GB with dual channel high bandwidth DDR3L SO-DIMM slot and on-board DDR3L memory. To provide the best network performance and utilisation, its storage interfaces include one 2.5”/3.5” SATA HDD and eMMC flash storage.

PL-81840 has 6x GbE LAN ports with two pairs of Gen3 bypass functions on the rear-panel. The rear panel also includes two USB 3.0 ports, and one RJ-45 console port. The front panel has LED indicators that monitor power and storage device activities for local system management, maintenance and diagnostics. In addition, the PL-81840 supports a mini-card socket for LAN expansion. This IoT platform is RoHS, FCC and CE compliant.

The PL-80990 platform supports two DDR4 2133 MHz un-buffered / Non-ECC / ECC DIMM, and has a maximum memory capacity of up to 32 GB. The powerful storage interface supports 2.5” SATA 3.0 HDD/SSD and 1 m-SATA slot for basic network storage applications.

The PL-80990 enables flexible PCIe port configurations: either 1 standard PCIe X8 card or 1 PCIe X8 slot for an expansion module. Multiple expansion modules support: 4 / 8 GbE Copper, 4 / 8 GbE Fiber, 2 / 4 10GbE Fiber, 2 40GbE Fiber and a maximum of 14 GbE Copper port support with 4 pairs BYPASS function.

The strong IO elements of PL-80990 support one console port, two USB 3.0 ports, a LCD module with 5-button keypad, LEDs to monitor BYPASS / Status / HDD / Power.

GbE 10 GbE 40 GbE Bypass Fiber DDR4 USB 3.02.5" HDD SATA 3.0 mSATA PCIe PL-80990WIN Enterprises will work with customers to modify PL-81060 to more specific specifications when they order in standard OEM or above quantities.

The Intel Atom processor E3900 series, Intel Celeron processor N3350, and Intel Pentium processor N4200 platform, formerly Apollo Lake, empowers real-time computing in digital surveillance, new in-vehicle experiences, advancements in industrial and office automation, new solutions for retail and medical, and more.
