NI AWR software, specifically Microwave Office circuit design software, will be used at the European Microwave Week 2018 (EuMW2018) Student Design Competition Thrust 1: Transceiver Design.

This competition is for master and doctoral engineering students and challenges them to design and measure a microwave device developed prior to and at the conference.

The Thrust 1: Transceiver Design effort is conducted by Professor David S. Ricketts, North Carolina State University, and is inspired by his popular “From Bits to Waves: Building a Modern Radio in One Day” workshop that has been featured at conferences worldwide for both students and working engineers.

The event takes place at European Microwave Week on Tuesday September 25 from 08.30 to 12.30 and on Wednesday September 26. Participation is limited and registration is required.
