The Wearable Technology Show 2017, held at ExCeL London on 7th-8th March, hosted multiple paid conference tracks over the duration of the show. Electronic Specifier Editor, Daisy Stapley-Bunten, reported on the Performance Sports Conference to find out more.

Exhibiting at this year’s Wearable Technology Show is DataArt a global technology consultancy. At the event, taking place in London from 7th-8th March, the healthcare and life sciences practice will present a variety of concept apps, including its award winning Care Companion, while the IoT Practice will demonstrate solutions built within DeviceHive and Alexa ecosystems and device cloud-enablement.

  Co-locating with the fourth Wearable Technology Show, the AR, VR & MXR Show is taking place at ExCeL London on 7th-8th March, and will include keynote speakers from Google and Microsoft will talk Daydream and HoloLens.

  Offering a valuable insight into the future convergence of sport and technology, this year’s Wearable Technology Show looks to be promising, following the meteoric rise of smart technology being used to enhance sport performance in recent years.

Returning to London this March is the Wearable Technology Show for its fourth outing. This year’s show will have a strengthened focus on digital health, a potential 6,000 attendees and over 100 exhibitors.

Speakers from Adidas, Team Sky, TomTom, Fitbit, Runtastic, Leicester City Football Club and GSK will be among those dissecting and debating the future of smart technology in sport at the Wearable Technology Show, which takes place 15-16 March at ExCeL in London.The next generation of smart devices and applications for sport and fitness will also be unveiled by exhibitors for the very first time in the UK.

The shortlist for The Wearable Awards 2016 has been announced, with 64 companies battling it out over 11 categories. Three new awards have been created for 2016: Rising Star, IoT Connect and Smart Home. The Best AR company has also been widened to include VR.

The Wearable Technology Show, the world’s largest show for wearables, smart technology and IoT, will return to London's ExCel exhibition centre for the third time from 15th to 16th March 2016. More than 120 companies will attend the show, many launching brand new technology into Europe for the very first time, some presenting global launches and never before seen prototypes.
