Microsoft & Axiomtek announce IoT collaboration

Axiomtek has joined Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT, ensuring that customers can get IoT solutions up and running quickly with hardware and software pre-tested and verified to work with Microsoft Azure IoT services. Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT allows businesses to reach customers where they are, working with an ecosystem of devices and platforms, allowing for faster time-to-production.

Axiomtek has joined the Microsoft Azure IoT Certified programme to ensure that its IoT solutions are pre-integrated with Azure cloud services. It enables the company to focus on enhancing products and customer experience.

Alex Pan, Director, Software and Solution Department, Axiomtek, commented: “Axiomtek has work with Microsoft to making it as easy as possible for customer to build IoT solution. The ICO300 is Axiomtek first IoT gateway solution certified by Microsoft Azure IoT. The application-ready ICO300 simplifies the development process and achieves accelerated business transformation of IoT environment. This intelligent IoT gateway system provides a perfect solution for IoT & M2M, industrial and embedded applications such as power plant automation, facility monitoring systems, intelligent transportation systems and other harsh environments. We will have more products coming out soon. Decreasing the usual customisation and work required for compatibility ensures Axiomtek helps customers get started quickly on their IoT solution."

IoT projects are complex and take a long time to implement. Customers find that choosing and connecting the right set of devices, assets or sensors to the cloud can be time-consuming. To jumpstart their IoT projects with confidence, customers are looking for certified devices and platforms that are tested for readiness, compatibility and usability with the Microsoft Azure IoT Suite. By choosing a partner from the Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT programme, customers can save time and effort on project specs and RFP processes by knowing in advance what devices and offerings will work with the Azure IoT Suite.

“Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT extends our promise to bring IoT to business scale, starting with interoperable solutions from leading technology companies around the world. With trusted offerings and verified partners, Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT accelerates the deployment of IoT even further,” added Barb Edson, General Manager, Data Platform and Internet of Things, Microsoft.
