HUBER+SUHNER enhance online RF assembly calculator
HUBER+SUHNER has announced the latest version of its popular online RF Assembly Calculator which is designed to offer easy access to technical specifications. This latest version enables easy comparison of up to three HUBER+SUHNER RF cables and assemblies in different configurations and environments (temperature and altitude) allowing instant extended calculations of cable constructions.
The RF Assembly Calculator features a database of more than 270 cables and connectors including HUBER+SUHNER Astrolab products (acquired at the end of 2012). Importantly, results and graphs can be easily exported to PDF and sent by e-mail.
This latest RF Assembly Calculator is also now incorporated within a new iPhone App ‘RF Tools’ which shows the relationship between a variety of key RF specific values. These include Reflection Measurement (Return loss ↔ VSWR), Frequency Wavelength (Wavelength calculation), Signal Delay (Signal delay ↔ Dielectric constant ↔ Velocity in % of speed of light), Impedance Dimension (calculation of impedance of coaxial line) and a dB Calculator (dB Ratio / Watt ↔ dBm). The app is available free in English and Chinese from the App Store.
