Specialist manufacturer of high-impact LED lighting, Maxilux designed lights for big locations including, the Emirates Stadium and the Royal Shakespeare Company, and now has created a brand new wireless and multiple scene-setting control system for interior designers wanting to effortlessly stimulate the right mood. The HALO30 requires three key elements – a controller, receiver and Applink – and is a flexible and easy-to-install control system for both modern LED strip lighting and regular mains voltage lamps.

The receiver represents the ‘ears’ of the system which is designed to be as flexible as possible so the low voltage receiver can control all kinds of LED strip - colour changing, colour temperature adjustable or single colour - through the same unit.

The HALO30controller offers compatibility through options including wall mounted touch panels (both mains-powered and rechargeable), hand held remote controls or a smartphone app.

The AppLink is a small piece of hardware which allows users to control the system via their Wi-Fi network.

Richard Cockayne, Managing Director of Maxilux said: “HALO30 is about putting people in control. It allows the connection of multiple receivers to controllers and because it is wireless, it means easy installation in different areas. This is where HALO30 really begins to shine as it creates the ability for multiple scene setting, depending upon the mood or the situation.

“For example, the lighting required for a dinner party is very different to that for cleaning the room afterwards. HALO30 lets you set the levels of each lighting type as you wish and then recall them at the touch of a single button or key.

“For end users the benefits are clear because it is easy to set up and use with sufficient flexibility for almost all situations, whilst for installers it is simple and quick to install as the wireless communications mean reduced cabling with the single unit design, which makes specification so much easier.”
