Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of customized performance-critical components and systems for advanced electronics and wireless products, has announced the expansion of its patented Phantom antenna product line.
The expanded product line includes the new TRA3513 antenna series, which covers the frequency range of 351-366 MHz. Measuring only 3.5 inches tall, the antenna’s revolutionary design features both vertical and horizontal polarization components. This gives the antenna diversity, frequency agility, low visibility, wide bandwidth and a low angle radiation pattern that is superior to traditional gain antennas in most applications. Its cross-polarization configuration also ensures uninterrupted transmissions in urban canyons and rural drop off areas.

“The TRA3513 antenna series is specifically designed for two-way radio communications in the growing public safety markets in both China and India,” said Rob Antonio, Laird Technologies Product Manager for LMR Antennas. “This unique UHF antenna is IP-67 rated, and incorporates an extremely rugged indoor/outdoor construction with a low profile that outperforms conventional mobile antennas in mobile radio applications.”

The TRA3513 comes with an industry standard NMO mounting socket that mates with all of Laird Technologies’ magnetic, trunk lid, and hole mounts. A threaded permanent stud mount model is also available for vandal resistant mounting on brackets, panels, ceilings or any other kind of housing.

As the industry leader in vehicular radio antenna products, Laird Technologies produces antennas in a diverse number of styles that can be mounted to any vehicle for any use. To ensure maximum performance, vehicular radio antennas can be individually tuned to frequency, while delivering high-performance in any environment
