Collaboration achieves data rates of 2Gbps at 300m in 60GHz band

Collaboration achieves data rates of 2Gbps at 300m in 60GHz band
The world's longest bidirectional phased-array link in the 60 GHz band has been developed by Keysight Technologies with the University of California San Diego. At a link distance of 300m, the 32-element array achieved a data rate of greater than 2Gbps over all scan angles up to ±45 degrees. Data rates were 4Gbps at 100 m and 500Mbps at 800 m over most scan angles.
