Signal and spectrum analyser delivers faster measurement speeds

Signal and spectrum analyser delivers faster measurement speeds
High measurement speeds are crucial for production testing of wireless communications components and base station test systems. That’s why Rohde & Schwarz developed its new FPS signal and spectrum analyser specifically for these types of automated measurement applications. At just two height units (2 HU), the compact FPS takes up only half as much rack space as a conventional spectrum analyser.

3CC test upgrade allows data rates up to 450Mbit/s

3CC test upgrade allows data rates up to 450Mbit/s
Aeroflex’s TM500 LTE-A Test Mobile and the E500 Capacity Test System now both support the aggregation of three component carriers (3 CC). Carrier aggregation of 3 CC allows mobile network operators to achieve data rates of up to 450 Mbit/s on their LTE-A networks. 3 CC carrier aggregation enables network operators with limited contiguous frequency allocations to maximise 4G data speeds by combining these spectrum bands.

3GPP protocol certification follows PTCRB test case

3GPP protocol certification follows PTCRB test case
Mobile device and handset manufacturers will soon be able to certify that their products conform to the 3GPP protocols for ‘emergency services calls over IMS’ with the introduction by Anritsu of the first PTCRB-approved test case. The test and measurement company has added the new protocol test cases for IMS (IP Multimedia Sub-system) emergency services calls to the suite of test cases supported on the widely used ME7834L Protocol Conformance Test (PCT) system. It provides users of the PCT system with officially approved protocol test cases.
