Suitable for microwave radio equipment and satellite communication applications, the CRO1878A-LF VCO has been introduced by Z-Communications. The device operates at 1878-1879MHz with a tuning voltage range of 1-4VDC.

Designed to deliver 4±2dBm of output power into a 50Ω load, the CRO1878A-LF features remarkable SSB spectral purity of -138dBc/Hz at 100kHz offset and operates with an average tuning sensitivity of 5MHz/V.

The VCO pushes less than 0.5MHz/V and pulls less than 0.5MHz with a 12dB return loss. Operating over a temperature range from -40 to +85°C, the device features typical second harmonic suppression of -20dBc, operates from a 5VDC supply and typically consumes 25mA of current.

Supplied in a MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5x0.5x0.22", the CRO1878A-LF is available in tape and reel packaging making it suited for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
