Connectors deliver RF connectivity up to 12.4GHz
For RF connectivity applications up to a maximum of 12.4GHz, a new cost effective blind mate solution is announced by HUBER+SUHNER. Unlike HUBER+SUHNER’s standard BMA connector series, the ECO BMA connector is produced with a brass housing and surface plated using the company’s SUCOPRO process.
ECO BMA series connectors are available as straight bulkhead cable plugs and straight panel cable jacks – both types for semi-rigid as well as flexible cables. They provide both axial and radial floating for blind mating and a durability of up to 500 matings. Temperature range is -40⁰ to +125⁰C which is wide enough for all but the most extreme applications.
Despite the use of cost effective materials, ECO BMA connectors are mechanically compatible with standard BMA connectors according to MIL-STD-348A/321.
