A test bench for ensuring NB-IoT compliance of M2M devices has been announced by Comprion.Narrow band-IoT (NB-IoT) is a low-power wide area network radio technology created for the Internet of Things (IoT) and machine-to-machine (M2M) world. The Comprion NB-IoT USIM Test Bench will soon become mandatory for qualifying NB-IoT devices according to the Global Certification Forum (GCF).

Ingenu and u‑blox have announced a strategic partnership that will enable the next generation of Ingenu’s patented RPMA (Random Phase Multiple Access) technology to serve global opportunities in the IoT market. The two companies have agreed that u-blox will develop and manufacture products supporting RPMA technology. RPMA is a low-power wide-area channel access method used exclusively for Machine-To-Machine (M2M) communication on the IoT.
