u-blox GPS selected for fleet management solutions
Based on u-blox’ high-performance NEO line of GPS and LEON / LISA 2G and 3G module series, the Insure, Secure and Lite vehicle management systems from Ctrack provide 24/7 internet-based surveillance capabilities including real-time and historical positional overview, automatic alerts in the case of unauthorised vehicle movement or tampering, area alerts, SARS-compliant logbook and optional remote panic button.
Ctrack partners with global cellular providers such as Vodafone, MTN, and Celcom to ensure real-time visibility of vehicles and systems being tracked. Ctrack uses mapping applications such as Google, HERE maps and Tom Tom maps, giving customers a choice of normal, terrain and satellite views in its software applications.
