Collaboration to accelerate end-to-end Ethernet storage

Marvell has announced that it is working with leading SSD vendor KIOXIA and original design manufacturers (ODMs) Foxconn-Ingrasys and Accton to bring its Ethernet Bunch of Flash (EBOF) technology solutions for Ethernet storage to market. NVIDIA CUDA-X AI and HPC software stack now available

Marvell announced the availability of NVIDIA GPU support on its ThunderX family of Arm-based server processors. Following NVIDIA’s June announcement to bring CUDA to the Arm architecture, Marvell has collaborated with NVIDIA to port its CUDA-X AI and HPC libraries, GPU-accelerated AI frameworks and software development tools to the ThunderX platform.

Enhanced 32GFC accelerates NVMe access with lower latency

Marvell has announced that its QLogic line of Enhanced 32GFC PCIe Gen 4 HBAs are now available from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) for their ProLiant and Apollo Gen 10 servers. HPE Gen 10 servers with Marvell’s newest 32GFC HBAs are capable of achieving 50% more in terms of transactional performance than previous generations, enabling enterprise class databases to now scale to exceed the most demanding data centre workloads.
