Free tool to optimise antenna placement on a PCB

Antenova has created a new software tool to help designers optimise antenna placement in a wireless design.  The tool displays the optimum position for embedded antennas on the PCB, depending upon the dimensions of the PCB and the specifications of the antennas. It places each individual antenna on the PCB in the best location for signal strength.

Chip antennas for NB-IoT standard to be revealed at Embedded World 2017

Antenova has developed a brand new antenna for the new Narrow Band IoT (NB-IoT) standard which was ratified last summer, and will show this antenna at Embedded World in Nuremberg in March. The antenna is small, measuring just 20 x 11 x 1.6mm, and is built to a novel design which allows it to perform well within a device, whilst being easy to integrate onto a small PCB.
