BlueCreation today announced BC127, the most complete Certified Bluetooth 4.0 Audio module available in the market. BC127 offers a complete package with all profiles, high-end codecs such as AAC and aptX, digital and analog audio out combined with the capability to connect to iOS and Android Applications with a simple control and configuration interface.

BC127 comes as a complete package. It includes the Bluetooth protocol stack, Hands Free (HFP 1.6), Music streaming (A2DP Sync and Source, AVRCP 1.4), Access to Phone Book (PBAP) with Audio DSP algorithm including additional support for echo cancellation, noise suppression, CSR’s aptX, AAC, MP3 and SBC at high sampling rates. A BC127 development kit is available for quick prototyping and development.

BC127 supports connection to Android, iPhone, iPad and iPod. BC127 comes with associated iOS and Android SmartPhone sample applications providing an End to End Solution.

BC127 offers the highest audio quality with ability to stream audio and includes a digital interface at a user defined sampling rate or differential analog output with 96dB SNR integrated DAC and -87dB Stereo separation. BC127 Class2 provides 20m range and lowest power consumption with ability to work with Bluetooth Low Energy. BC127 comes in the smallest form factor with a footprint of 11.8mm x 18mm.

Developers have access to the simple UART based command interface on the BC127 as well as the possibility for the module to function autonomously and to be controlled via PIOs. Coupled with this turn-key solution, BlueCreation support and customisation services enables a unique and cost effective solution to be brought to market in a little as a few weeks.
