A range of C–band to KA-band antennas, available in a range of reflector sizes, has been released by Luso Microwave. The antennas' modular design, the company claims, reduces installation time, cut costs and adds flexibility to microwave satellite networks. KA band installations also benefit from the modular design, making set-ups financially viable for cost-sensitive commercial applications.

The antennas are supplied in four variants: fixed, manually adjustable, motorised and full tracking. Available with a range of ancillary components, installation and commissioning of a 5-piece motorised system is typically completed in one day. The company claims this is about one-third of normal installation time for comparable antennas. The range of refelctors are offered in sizes from 1.2m to 4.2m.

Luso will exhibit the modular C–band to KA-band antennas at IBC 2014, which takes place on the 12th-16th September at the RAI Amsterdam. The company will be in Hall 5 on Stand C-19.
