Training team expanded at 5G World

This week’s 5G World event, in London, will see 5G-Courses, a 5G and IoT Training provider, announce the expansion of its training team. “This is an important milestone in our company’s growth and competence building. Our strategy to tightly cover every aspect of successful 5G deployment and delivery is moving to a higher level. The successfully received pioneering course, Internet of Things in 5G, by Professor Mischa Dohler, laid the foundations for a unique learning methodology and engaging content delivery,” said Piotr Pietrzyk, the CEO and Founder of 5G-Courses.com.

The team has grown with the addition of some outstanding professionals, including but not limited to:

  • Eiko Seidel, CTO Nomor Research and 3GPP RAN Standardisation Expert. He has been working in mobile communication R&D for more than 20 years. Seidel has been involved in many research projects and has actively contributed to UMTS, LTE and LTE-A standardisation in ETSI SMG and 3GPP RAN. Since the establishment of 3GPP, he has attended many different Radio Access Network working groups, especially RAN1 and RAN2 working groups.
  • Geoff Varrall, Director at RTT Programmes. Varrall is responsible for developing and delivering consultancy products for the telecommunications industry, and has a specific research interest in 5G and satellite spectrum and standards, 5G and satellite supply chain economics and related regulatory and competition policy issues.
  • Dr Jacob Sharony, an accomplished executive and scientist with over 25 years of technology and business experience. Sharony has held engineering and management positions in diverse technology disciplines at Time Warner Cable, Motorola, BAE Systems, NEC Research Institute, and IBM Research.

“The new trainers within our team are recognised and outstanding professionals with over 20 years of experience in R&D, standardisation and the commercialisation of wireless systems. You can expect untold stories and unique insights, on top of clear and easy to absorb knowledge from upcoming course titles,” Pietrzyk added.
